MAXXI Roma presenta 'L'Italia di Zaha Hadid'

A year after her sudden death, MAXXI in Rome presents 'L'Italia di Zaha Hadid' from June 23, 2017 to January 14, 2018, curated by Margherita Guccione and Woody Yao. The exhibition highlights Hadid's intense and enduring relationship with Italy, covering her built works, design objects, and creative process. It includes projects like the Salerno Maritime Terminal, Messner Mountain Museum, Generali Tower in Milan, Afragola high-speed station, and MAXXI itself. A section focuses on her Italian design collaborations with brands such as B&B Italia, Cassina, Sawaya & Moroni, Slamp, Alessi, Magis, Fendi, and others. The show features sketches, models, videos, photographs by Helene Binet, and works referencing Russian Suprematism. A catalog in Italian and English is published by Quodlibet.
