MAXXI Bulgari Prize 2022 Finalists Announced: Ferrini, Rosi, Siedlecki

The finalists for the third MAXXI Bulgari Prize have been revealed by Bulgari and the MAXXI Museum in Rome: Alessandra Ferrini, Silvia Rosi, and Namsal Siedlecki. An international jury, featuring Hoor Al Qasimi, Chiara Parisi, Dirk Snauwaert, Hou Hanru, and Bartolomeo Pietromarchi, selected them for their innovative media and diverse aesthetics. Their artwork will be showcased at MAXXI in June 2022, with the winner to be announced in October 2022, who will then be included in the museum's permanent collection. Giovanna Melandri highlighted their engagement with pressing issues such as identity and the relationship between humans and nature. The prize is available to Italian artists and those who have completed projects in Italy over the past two years.
