award · 2026-05-04

The Maxxi Bulgari Prize has announced its finalists: Talia Chetrit (Washington, 1982), Invernomuto (Simone Bertuzzi, Piacenza 1983 and Simone Trabucchi, Piacenza 1982), and Diego Marcon (Busto Arsizio, 1985). An international jury comprising David Elliott, Yuko Hasegawa, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Hou Hanru, and Bartolomeo Pietromarchi selected them. The finalists will present their works in an exhibition curated by Giulia Ferracci opening June 1 at MAXXI in Rome. On October 13, the jury will announce the winner, whose work will enter the MAXXI Collection. The prize, successor to the Premio Maxxi, now targets young artists of any nationality who have produced a project in Italy within the last two years, expanding beyond Italian artists.
