Max – Y Gallery Opens in Florence's San Niccolò District

exhibition · 2026-04-26

A new contemporary art space, Max – Y Gallery, has opened its doors at Via Niccolò 71 in the San Niccolò area of Florence’s Oltrarno district. Led by street art pioneer Carla Bru, who runs Dhai Studio, along with curator Gisella Guarducci, the gallery aims to highlight up-and-coming and street artists. It will kick off on June 18 with an opening exhibition featuring works from eleven creators, including Ache77, Carla Bru, and others. Spanning 70 square meters, the gallery includes a basement for installations and cultural events. The founders hope to enhance Florence's art scene by supporting local artists and engaging the community, with a live performance planned for the opening day.
