Max Hazan's Ferrari V-8 Custom Motorcycle HF355 Sells for Over $500,000
A one-of-a-kind motorcycle featuring a Ferrari V-8 engine has recently fetched more than $500,000. Crafted by Los Angeles builder Max Hazan, the HF355 is powered by a 3.5-liter V-8 engine derived from the 1999 Ferrari F355, delivering 400 horsepower and achieving a maximum speed of 187 mph. With a weight of 585 pounds, it boasts a power-to-weight ratio comparable to that of hypercars. Hazan dedicated 18 months to its manual construction, utilizing the engine as a stressed member and incorporating a 63-inch wheelbase. The custom bike also features a unique fuel-injection system, 16 hand-shaped carbon-fiber parts, Brembo GP4X calipers, Öhlins forks, and Marchesini wheels. Hazan regards it as his most significant challenge, showcased at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
