Mattia Ozzy B. Deconstructs Graffiti in Sebino Industrial Space

Mattia Ozzy B. is participating in IN/FORM, a project transforming the spaces of Sebino into a dialogue between art and industry. The multidisciplinary artist works with sculpture, installation, and analog photography, focusing on found materials and waste objects from urban contexts. His practice originates from graffiti but has evolved toward abstraction, deconstructing letters while retaining the gesture's energy. He draws on POS, vandalism, and post-graffiti as central references. Ozzy B. is attracted to ghost zones and non-places, peripheral interstitial spaces where discarded objects accumulate. These sites serve as both subject and raw material, with found objects entering his work directly, carrying histories of use and abandonment. He acknowledges being part of a collective dimension and hopes for dialogue and confrontation when installing in shared spaces. In an industrial environment already charged with production logic, his presence introduces a different type of accumulation.
