Matthew Noble Opens ArtNoble Gallery in Milan's Lambrate District
On April 22, 2021, Matthew Noble, born in 1993, will inaugurate the ArtNoble gallery in Milan's Lambrate area. Co-directed by Alice Previtali, the gallery is committed to showcasing emerging talent. ArtNoble originated as a nomadic initiative in London in 2018, hosting temporary exhibitions in a countryside residence and various private venues. After returning to Italy in 2019 and co-managing a gallery in Brescia, Noble opted to create a permanent establishment in his hometown. Situated at Via Ponte di Legno, the gallery occupies a former basement warehouse, which Noble has converted into a metaphysical environment illuminated by neon lights. The opening exhibition, "Zeitgeber," featuring artists like Giovanni Chiamenti and Simon Dean, will run until June 12, 2021, and delve into themes of time and transformation. Noble is keen on live art experiences and is contemplating an NFT exhibition, aiming to highlight artists with genuine, location-based research, particularly from Africa.
