Masterpieces from Naples Archaeological Museum on Show in Shanghai

There's a fascinating exhibition called "A World of Beauty. Masterpieces from the National Archaeological Museum of Naples" running at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai until April 21, 2023. It features more than 70 pieces, including famous works like the Venus Callipygia, Apollo Citharoedus, and Asclepius. Curators Francesco D'Arelli, Mario Grimaldi, and Clara Tosi Pamphili showcase the timeless charm of classical art through stunning mosaics, frescoes, and sculptures. A special arrangement by Aldo Cibic and Joseph Dejardin highlights pieces from the Farnese Collection. D'Arelli mentioned the cultural links between China and Italy, while Tosi Pamphili discussed how culture shapes global relations. Looking ahead, two more exhibitions are planned for 2024 and 2025.
