Master of Photography Exhibition Opens in Venice with Winner Gabriele Micalizzi

Sky Arte HD and Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa present Master of Photography Exhibition in Venice, showcasing works from the first season of the talent show. Curated by Filippo Maggia, director of Fondazione Fotografia Modena, the exhibition features photographs by twelve international contestants, including winner Gabriele Micalizzi. The show, held at the foundation's Piazza San Marco venue, highlights images from eight episodes covering themes from travel to portraiture to nudes. Participants include Gina Soden, Neal Gruer, Rupert Frere (UK), Laura Zalenga, Sebastian Siebel (Germany), Lanka Perren (France), Marta Lallana Garcia (Spain), Yan Revazov (Russia), Dragica Carlin (Croatia), Hongwei Tang (Austria), and Mary Stuart (Italy). Meanwhile, applications for the second edition open on September 14, 2016, with a deadline of October 31, 2016. The winner will again receive €150,000 and the title of best European photography talent. The program airs in 2017 on Sky Arte HD.
