Massimo Giontella attributes eight Renaissance works to Leonardo da Vinci
Physiatrist Massimo Giontella, together with Riccardo Fubini, has suggested that eight artworks from the Renaissance should be reassigned to Leonardo da Vinci. Among these is the "Lady with a Posy," housed in the Museo Nazionale del Bargello, believed to represent Ginevra Benci, along with a Windsor drawing considered a preparatory study. Additionally, a marble bust of Antonio del Pollaiolo is proposed to be by Leonardo, as indicated by Bramante's poem. An idealized terracotta portrait of Federico da Montefeltro from 1474 is also linked to him. A warrior depicted in Verrocchio's San Giovanni Altar panel is tied to a Windsor drawing, while a bronze "Hercules" at the Frick Museum is thought to be a study for the Sforza monument. Furthermore, a fresco at the Pinacoteca di Brera and a "Leda and the Swan" at the Galleria Borghese are attributed to Leonardo, along with the integration of Jacopo de' Barbari's survey drawings for a woodcut representation of Venice.
