Massimo Bernardi appointed new director of MUSE – Museo delle Scienze di Trento

Massimo Bernardi, aged 40, has been named the director of MUSE – Museo delle Scienze di Trento, earning an 'excellent' rating. He graduated from the University of Padua and obtained a PhD from the University of Bristol. Since 2021, he has been in charge of the museum's research and collections office. Additionally, Bernardi teaches scientific communication at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and engages in collaborations both nationally and internationally. As a member of the Faunistic Observatory of Trento, he has also curated exhibitions on paleontology. His vision includes enhancing the integration of natural history with interactive science, updating climate change exhibits, and fostering connections with regional museums while addressing labor conditions for external workers.
