Mason White named dean of University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty
Mason White will assume the role of dean at the University of Toronto's John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design beginning July 1. He succeeds Robert Levit, who served as acting dean since the summer of 2023. With two decades of experience at Daniels, White specializes in architecture for cold environments, as well as forestry and visual studies. He has led various degree programs and founded Lateral Office, collaborating with Indigenous groups on various initiatives. Vice President Trevor Young commended White's dedication to both research and practice, highlighting his goals to enhance alumni connections and promote collaborative research efforts.
