MAS Design: Maria Adele Savioli's Custom Furniture Brand

Maria Adele Savioli, born in 1976 with Romagna origins but long based in Rome, founded MAS Architettura in 2012 after collaborating with studios Giammetta&Giammetta and Labics. In 2018, she launched MAS Design, a furniture brand born from a friendship with Paolo, who first commissioned custom pieces for his Roman home. The brand emphasizes artisanal craftsmanship, material research, and customization, with Savioli designing forms while clients choose colors and finishes. Currently, MAS Design has seven collections, two of which—Onice 45 and Losanghe—debuted at EDIT Napoli. Onice 45 features onyx tables with lacquered iron frames, while Losanghe includes a coffee table, credenza, and console with painted iron profiles, glass, and brass details inspired by architectural facades. Savioli, an architect by training, designs pieces contextually within spaces, often drawing inspiration from materials found in interiors. Future plans include expanding as a creative laboratory collaborating with illustrators and pursuing international market visibility, though details remain undisclosed. She also dreams of designing a seaside hotel, reflecting her family background in hospitality.
