Athens-born artist Mary Zygouri, born in 1973, is showcasing her debut solo exhibition, "La Répétition de l'Impossible," at Prometeogallery in Milan. This diverse exhibition features artwork in performance, photography, video, and installation, focusing on themes of politics, ethics, and aesthetics while exploring memory and cultural heritage. Influenced by Antonio Gramsci, Zygouri's pieces include notable video works such as "Venus Of The Rags / In Transit (Eleusis)" from 2014, "Movimento in Semi-Libertà" from 2015, "Je Reviens Toujours" from 2017, and "THE ROUND UP Project: Kokkinia 1979 – Kokkinia, 2017," originally developed for Documenta 14.
