Mary Corse's Diamond Paintings Debut in Seoul

Pace Gallery presents 'Mary Corse: Primary Light' at its Seoul location from April 15 through June 5. The exhibition features new Diamond paintings by the Los Angeles-based artist, alongside a light box work in a separate viewing space. Corse, who has lived and worked in Los Angeles since 1964, explores light as both subject and material through abstract works blending aesthetic refinement with scientific rigor. Her decades-long inquiry into human perception is central to the show. Though she works across sculpture and installation, Corse remains deeply committed to painting. The new Diamond paintings continue her empirical, materially attentive approach.
