A major exhibition celebrating 80 years of Marvel Comics, titled 'AMAZING. 80 (e più) anni di supereroi Marvel', will be held at Palazzo Falletti di Barolo in Turin from December 6, 2024 to March 9, 2025. Curated by Luca Bertuzzi and produced by ARES Torino in collaboration with WOW Spazio Fumetto – Museo del Fumetto di Milano, the show features over eighty original comic pages by legendary artists including Jack Kirby, John Romita Jr., Steve Ditko, Alex Ross, and John Buscema. The exhibition traces Marvel's evolution from the 1940s to the present, covering key characters such as Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, and the Fantastic Four. It includes original artworks, posters, memorabilia, toys, and large-scale enlargements of famous panels. The show also explores Marvel's impact on film and television, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and addresses recent declines in comic book sales. Informational panels and timelines outline the company's history decade by decade.
