Prima mostra museale in Germania di Márton Nemes al Museum gegenstandsfreier Kunst
A Otterndorf, il Museum gegenstandsfreier Kunst (MgK) ha inaugurato "Metropolitan Baroque", la prima mostra museale in Germania per Márton Nemes, artista ungherese nato nel 1986 a Székesfehérvár. Dividendo il suo tempo tra New York e Budapest, Nemes è noto per le sue opere immersive che fondono pittura, scultura, installazione e suono, traendo ispirazione dall'architettura urbana, dalla cultura techno e dall'arte digitale. Questa mostra segue la sua significativa presentazione al Padiglione Ungherese della Biennale di Venezia 2024 e mette in mostra la sua crescita artistica dal 2020 in poi, inclusi nuovi pezzi creati per l'esposizione. Ha studiato pittura a Budapest e ha conseguito un MFA al Chelsea College of Arts di Londra, con la sua arte esposta in sedi prestigiose in tutto il mondo.
