Martin Urrutia, a 21-year-old artist from Getxo, has released his first studio album titled 'La Insolación'. This debut follows his participation as a finalist in the 2023 edition of 'Operación Triunfo'. The album represents a deliberate departure from commercial sounds, with Urrutia describing it as a journey through memories. He collaborated with the group Hidrogenesse on the project. In a recent interview, Urrutia expressed strong criticism of social media platforms, stating he is tired of them and suggesting society would change if TikTok and Instagram did not exist. His artistic influences include post-war literature, and his songs incorporate references to nature. Despite the potential stigma associated with being a 'triunfito' from the talent show, Urrutia chose to wait three years before releasing this album. He has also expanded into acting with the musical series 'Mariliendre'.
