Martin Parr's Sport Photography Takes Over CAMERA in Turin

In Turin, CAMERA – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia is showcasing 'Match Point', an exhibition centered on British photographer Martin Parr, who was born in Epsom in 1952. The exhibition, which runs until February 13, includes approximately 150 images spanning from the 1980s to the present, emphasizing sports fans instead of athletes. This event aligns with the Nitto ATP Finals taking place in November and is a joint effort by CAMERA, Magnum Photos, and Lavazza, curated by Walter Guadagnini and Monica Poggi. It features a 'Prologue' of black-and-white photographs and sections like 'A day at the races' and 'Fever Pitch'. Additionally, it coincides with the release of 'Match Point. Tennis by Martin Parr' from Phaidon, containing 85 new images.
