Martin Klosterfelde appointed Director at Phillips auction house

So, Martin Klosterfelde has just been named the Director focusing on international contemporary art at Phillips. Before this role, he spent 18 years running his own gallery in Berlin, where he highlighted the works of artists like John Bock, Christian Jankowski, and Matt Mullican internationally. He also worked at Barbara Gladstone in New York before starting his gallery. He studied at Christie’s Education in both London and New York. On top of that, he helped establish Gallery Weekend Berlin and ABC Art Berlin Contemporary, and he’s part of committees for Frieze London and Art Basel Miami Beach.
