Martin Creed's Balloon Installation Fills Museo Burel in Belluno

exhibition · 2026-04-26

Curator Daniela Zangrando continues her project of bringing contemporary art to Belluno's Museo Burel, this time with British artist Martin Creed. The exhibition features Work no. 3891, 2025, an evolution of his 1998 piece Work No. 200. Half the air in a given space, where white balloons fill half the museum's volume. Creed, winner of the 2001 Turner Prize, aims to make air visible. The show is part of the museum's Masquerade cycle, following earlier exhibitions by Christian Boltanski, Roman Signer, and Hans Haacke. Creed's works are held in major institutions including MoMA New York, Centre Pompidou Paris, and Tate Modern London.
