Martin Clark to Leave Camden Art Centre for Towner Eastbourne
Martin Clark has been appointed as the new director and chief executive of Towner Eastbourne, set to begin in January 2027. He will succeed Joe Hill at the institution, known for its extensive collection of Eric Ravilious works and its accolades, including jointly winning the Art Fund Museum of the Year in 2020 and hosting the Turner Prize in 2023. Clark will also oversee the Towner Seven Sisters project at Black Robin Farm, with development commencing early next year, supported by £750,000 from Arts Council England. Previously, he served at Camden Art Centre, Bergen Kunsthall, and Tate St Ives.
