MART and Centrale Fies launch inclusive communication training

The MART – Museo d'arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto and Centrale Fies Art work Space in Dro, Trentino, have initiated a training course titled "Comunicazione accessibile e linguaggio contemporaneo" aimed at making their communication more inclusive. The program targets communicators, cultural mediators, social media managers, and press offices from both institutions. The first session on accessible communication was led by Francesca Musolino, a CPACC-certified Communication and Accessibility manager, focusing on reaching people with temporary, permanent, or situational disabilities. The second session addressed decolonization of language, conducted by researcher and activist Mackda Ghebremariam Tesfau', who holds a PhD in Social Sciences and serves on the board of Refugees Welcome and Razzismo Brutta Storia, Feltrinelli, as well as on the curatorial board of Centrale Fies. The training aligns with UN Agenda 2030 sustainable development goals, emphasizing that cultural institutions must act for social cohesion, intercultural education, active citizenship, and human rights. The initiative responds to the growing diversity of online audiences, aiming to create accessible, understandable, and kind content that avoids stereotypes and prejudices.
