Marsèll launches artistic fragrance with Museo Carlo Zauli
Marsèll, the Italian fashion brand specializing in footwear, has launched its first fragrance at the Marsèll Paradise concept store in Milan. The unisex perfume was developed by Parisian studio Flair, while its packaging was created in collaboration with the Museo Carlo Zauli in Faenza. The bottle is made of leather and set in a cube of black Belgian clay, a material stored in the museum's cellars since the 1980s and used by Carlo Zauli in his works. The fragrance is presented as a limited edition of 50 numbered pieces, each unique. Its composition features top notes of black pepper, air, and enamel; a heart of lilac, green tea, and sandalwood; and base notes of Suederal leather, Cade Wood smoke, Moroccan Atlas cedarwood, Papyrus wood, musk, patchouly, Gaiac wood, black wax, and Labdanum incense. The scent aims to evoke the brand's aesthetic and philosophy. Marsèll Paradise, opened in January 2017 at via Privata Rezia 2 in the Corvetto district, is a space that blends design, fashion, music, and publishing, selling shoes, Marsèll Records vinyl, and art books. It complements the Marselleria in via Paullo, a creative hub and permanent exhibition space founded in 2009 for installations, video projects, photography, and performances.
