MARS Architectes Renovates Historic Complex in Paris's Marais

MARS Architectes has unveiled a renovation project for a historic building complex located on Rue Pavée in the heart of Paris's Marais district. The project, designed by principal architects Sylvain Rety, Julien Broussart, and Raphaël Renard, covers an area of 6,778 square meters and is slated for completion in 2025. The renovation aims to transform the complex into a mixed-use development, incorporating public buildings and interior design by the firm cigüe, with Lagneau architecte serving as the architectural study partner. The project is notable for its approach to the Marais's urban fabric, which has been shaped by centuries of continuous transformation rather than a single historical vision.
