Marracash video drawings on view for one day in Milan

exhibition · 2026-04-27

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 10 AM to 6 PM, Collezione Ramo presents 'DUBBI su carta' at Assab One in Milan, a one-day exhibition of 2,500 hand-drawn frames by artist Tarik Berber for the music video 'Dubbi' by Italian rapper Marracash, from his triple-platinum album 'Noi, loro, gli altri'. Curated by Irina Zucca Alessandrelli, the show coincides with the video's release on Island Music. Berber, born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1980, previously created animations for ManiaProduction a decade ago. The collaboration began through mutual friend Giovanna Carboni. Zucca Alessandrelli noted the rarity of such a hand-drawn video in Italian rap and highlighted Collezione Ramo's growing engagement with the music scene, following their commission of 'Marginal Carillon' with sound designer Taketo Gohara. The exhibition offers a behind-the-scenes look at the animation process. Collezione Ramo also organizes the second edition of Milano Drawing Week from November 19–27, 2022.
