Mario Testino's art collection to be auctioned at Sotheby's London
Sotheby’s London will host an auction on September 13-14, 2017, showcasing contemporary art from renowned photographer Mario Testino's collection, with a target of generating at least £8 million. The auction features works by prominent artists such as Nan Goldin, Martin Parr, and Richard Prince. Proceeds will support MATE, a museum founded by Testino in Lima in 2012, dedicated to advancing Peruvian culture and artists. MATE, located in a beautifully restored 1898 colonial palace in Barranco, spans approximately 13,000 square meters and houses Testino's permanent collection.
