Mario Cresci Exhibition at Reggia di Venaria Celebrates Jacobacci & Partners' 150 Years
An exhibition of photographs by Mario Cresci, curated by Elena Re, has opened at the Reggia di Venaria to mark the 150th anniversary of Jacobacci & Partners, a Turin-based intellectual property firm. The show, titled 'Omaggio all'Ingegno', features works created in 2005 when the company moved to the former GFT textile factories. The photographs explore the context of Turin's Borgo Dora and Aurora districts, the history of the building at Corso Emilia 8, and the company's identity. Enrica Acuto Jacobacci, Vicepresident and CEO, initiated the public exhibition to share the firm's cultural project. Founded in 1872, Jacobacci & Partners manages 100,000 patents and 100,000 trademarks for over 10,000 clients. The corporate collection spans 15 offices across Italy, France, and Spain, with tailored cultural projects including educational events and open days. Cresci's work delves into company archives and neighborhood stories, such as the Gioielleria Sella watch repair shop. The exhibition includes original documents and objects from the company's archives.
