Mario Botta Documentary 'Oltre lo spazio' Premieres in Italy

The documentary 'Mario Botta. Oltre lo spazio' will have its Italian premiere on October 12 at the 24th edition of Artecinema in Naples, with the architect and directors in attendance. Directed by Loretta Dalpozzo and Michèle Volontè and produced by Swissbridge Productions, the film offers an intimate portrait of the Swiss architect, following him for months across Switzerland, Italy, Israel, South Korea, and China. It includes perspectives from his family and explores his career spanning over fifty years, including his recent project designing a mosque in China. Botta, who has previously designed churches, chapels, and a synagogue, was awarded the prestigious Ratzinger Prize in 2018 by Pope Francis. The film will also screen at the Milano Design Film Festival on October 26 and in Rome on October 30 in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy.
