Mario Airò's Laser Watercolor Illuminates Orbetello Lagoon for Hypermaremma
Mario Airò's site-specific installation 'Watercolour' uses a green acid laser beam to animate the Orbetello Lagoon and the facade of the Antico Mulino in Tuscany, part of the third edition of Hypermaremma. The work, visible until August 31, 2021, creates a perceptual experience that alters the viewer's understanding of the landscape. Curator Massimo Mininni describes the piece as exploring light in motion, perception, and the relativity of sight. Hypermaremma runs until October 31, 2021, with installations, performances, and permanent projects across southern Tuscany. Photographs by Giorgio Benni document the work.
