Marino Marini Retrospective Opens Across Two Venues in Arezzo
Arezzo, a city in Tuscany, is currently presenting a retrospective exhibition on Marino Marini (1901–1980), entitled "Marino Marini. In dialogo con l'uomo," which will be open until November 2, 2025, at the Galleria Comunale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea and the Fortezza Medicea. This showcase includes more than 100 pieces created between the 1910s and the 1960s, featuring loans from the Museo Marino Marini in Florence and the Fondazione Marino Marini in Pistoia. Curated by Alberto Fiz and Moira Chiavarini, the exhibition emphasizes Marini's interaction with Piero della Francesca and displays significant works such as "Cavaliere" (1947), "Cavaliere" (1949–1950), and "L'Angelo della Città," along with portraits of his friends, highlighting themes of individual fragility.
