Marinella Senatore's 'We Rise By Lifting Others' at Masseria Torre Maizza

Marinella Senatore, hailing from Cava dei Tirreni and born in 1977, will unveil her inaugural solo exhibition titled 'We Rise By Lifting Others' at Masseria Torre Maizza, running from May 29 to September 8, 2026. Curated by Raffaele Quattrone for Rocco Forte Hotels, the exhibition showcases six pieces that explore themes of community and Southern Italian luminarie. Through her work, Senatore employs light as a means to evoke emotions and foster social connections, promoting the importance of genuine relationships in today's individualistic society. Her approach highlights participation, with the School of Narrative Dance serving as a non-hierarchical framework, aiming to transform the space into a public square that mirrors Puglia's cultural traditions and migrations.
