Marinella Senatore leads fifth edition of Marca Corona per l'Arte

The Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Roma has announced Marinella Senatore as the 2026 'Artist of the Year.' She will oversee the fifth edition of Marca Corona per l'Arte, a collaborative art initiative by Ceramiche Marca Corona. This year-long project will feature workshops, collective art creation, and three exhibitions, commencing in spring 2026. Senatore's inaugural ceramic piece, 'Materia Comune,' is set to be displayed at Galleria Marca Corona in Sassuolo from October 9 to December 4, 2026. The exhibition will then move to Bologna for ART CITY and Arte Fiera from February 5 to 7, 2027, before returning to Sassuolo in the fall of 2027. Ceramiche Marca Corona has been around since 1741 and opened its museum in 2010.
