Marina Gadonneix's Photographic Investigations at Le Point du Jour

Marina Gadonneix's exhibition 'Cherbourg' at Le Point du Jour (January 31 - May 8, 2016) explores constructed environments used for simulation and training. The show features photographs of film sets with green or blue screens, fire training houses, art reproduction studios, and scientific laboratories where physical phenomena are recreated. Gadonneix captures these spaces as liminal zones between reality and artifice, questioning how images are produced and how we perceive authenticity.
