Marignana Arte's 'Stanze' Group Show Explores Body, Time, and Matter in Venice
Marignana Arte in Venice presents 'Stanze,' a group exhibition featuring six Italian artists who investigate themes of bodily immanence, symbolic weight of icons, and the legacy of the past. The show includes Bianco-Valente's emotional maps, Donatella Spaziani's anatomical-floral works, Mats Bergquist's craft icons revealing ancient practices, Marco Maria Zanin's photographs capturing natural time, Quayola's chromatic decompositions of past masterpieces, and Serena Fineschi's obsessive ink drawings inspired by Titian's red and Veronese's green. In the project room, Zanin's black-and-white photographs and ceramic installation pay homage to lagoon boats, on view until March 16.
