institutional · 2026-04-20

Copenhagen Contemporary has named Marie Laurberg as its new director, effective 1 August 2022. She succeeds Marie Nipper, who left for a directorial role at ARKEN. Laurberg brings two decades of curatorial experience, having served as artistic director at Kunstmuseum Brandts and held positions at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and ARKEN. Since 2018, she has been a board member of the Beckett-Fonden.
