Mariangela Melato's personal effects auctioned at Bonino in Rome

Bonino auction house in Rome is selling the personal effects of late actress Mariangela Melato from her home on Via dei Coronari. The auction includes furniture, clothing, jewelry, paintings, drawings, and other objects that reflect her life and passions. Among the highlights are early 20th-century French and Italian paintings, one of which was used as a set prop in Lina Wertmüller's 'Film d'amore e d'anarchia'. Jewelry by Armani, Bulgari, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel, as well as geometric pieces in stones and multicolored resins, are up for sale. Furniture includes a table by Gae Aulenti, along with Art Nouveau and Art Deco vases and lamps. Melato's collection of angel figurines is also included. A section of the auction is dedicated to awards such as the David di Michelangelo, Grolla d'Oro (and di Platino), David di Donatello, Maschera d'Oro, Gonfalone d'Oro, Premio della Critica, Premio Flaiano, and Biglietto d'Oro. Additionally, works created by the actress herself, primarily drawings, are being sold.
