Maria Mediaas Jørstad Appointed Director of Kunstsilo in Kristiansand

Maria Mediaas Jørstad will lead Kunstsilo in Kristiansand, Norway, starting a five-year term on 6 January 2025. She moves from the Nordic Culture Fund in Copenhagen, where she directed the Talent Norge programme and worked from Nordens Hus. Previously, she served as a producer at Norway’s National Theatre. In a statement, Mediaas Jørstad expressed excitement about joining the team at the remarkable building, which holds a world-class collection, and noted she has followed Kunstsilo’s vision from its inception.
