Margherita Moscardini's 'Atlas' Opens Ex Elettrofonica Season in Rome
The Ex Elettrofonica space in Rome opens its 2016/2017 season with 'Anywhere and anytime', a conceptual architectural reflection by Margherita Moscardini (born 1981 in Donoratico). The exhibition explores the idea that a city, constituted by people united in public discourse, is a concept transferable anywhere and anytime. Moscardini presents drawings and small sculptures depicting a multitude that condenses. The work contemplates space and time, landscape and architecture, image and allusion. Public space gains meaning when filled, which is the reason for its design. Her creations are works in progress, containers that illustrate an evolutionary and irrational process of cumulative origin, as well as the dissolution of an open and evolving habitus. The exhibition runs until December 20, 2016, at Ex Elettrofonica, Vicolo Sant'Onofrio 10, Rome.
