Margherita Marzotto's Sculptural Jewelry Collection for Ollone & Ollone
Margherita Marzotto, a young artist with exhibitions in Salzburg, Miami, London, Paris, New York, Moscow, and Los Angeles, has designed the Santa Marta jewelry collection for Ollone & Ollone. Inspired by the raw magnetism of gemstones discovered during a trip to Africa with brothers Barthelemy and Melchior d'Ollone, who are explorers and gem hunters, Marzotto creates sculptural pieces that preserve the natural light of rough stones. The goldwork pays homage to Bernini's Apollo and Daphne, alternating rough and smooth surfaces studded with diamonds. Stones include paraiba tourmalines, Burmese rubies, Madagascar emeralds, and Kenyan tsavorites, sourced ethically by the d'Ollone brothers for Parisian haute joaillerie houses over twelve years, regulated by the Responsible Jewellery Council. Each piece is custom-made, with packaging featuring hand-painted boxes by Marzotto inspired by Pompeian grotesques. Naples serves as the project's genesis and meeting point for the families.
