During Milan's Salone del Mobile 2026, artist Margherita Bellodi presents 'Visione Granito,' a site-specific installation at Provasi's historic Via Borgonuovo 1 location from April 20-26. The work transforms Provasi's space into 'Casa Provasi,' an exhibition path culminating in Bellodi's steel mesh sculpture that challenges traditional perceptions of architectural boundaries. Created with support from Ilaria Franza and curated by Martina Corbetta, the installation uses hand-shaped steel netting to evoke mineral mass, creating illusions of cliffs or living rock walls. The piece reflects Bellodi's artistic research infused with Japanese Wabi Sabi philosophy, emphasizing beauty in imperfection and transience. Light plays a crucial role as the metallic surface refracts and reflects illumination, creating perceptual geographies that change hourly. Bellodi brings multidisciplinary experience from fashion, theatrical scenography, and restoration, while Franza contributes expertise from Brera focused on essentiality and flow. Provasi complements the installation with three rooms redefining intimate living and introduces a new garden kitchen, expanding lifestyle toward outdoor spaces that find perfect scenographic counterpoint in 'Visione Granito.'
