exhibition · 2026-04-22

Marfa' Projects in Beirut marks its tenth anniversary with Marfa' 10, an international exhibition showcasing pieces from 18 different galleries. Established in 2015 by Joumana Asseily, the gallery has weathered significant challenges, including Lebanon's 2019 revolution, the financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2020 port explosion. It reopened on May 21, 2021, with the exhibition titled Water. Featured in the current display are Seta Manoukian's What is the Best Way (2024), Alvaro Barrington's We Be Jammin, North Star, G (2023), and Paola Yacoub's Jeux de Guerre (2025). Additional highlights comprise Olivier Millagou's Peinture Périmée (Rose) (2023) and Robert Mapplethorpe's Lisa Lyon (1982). The exhibition is available for viewing until January 15, symbolizing resilience in the face of Lebanon's adversities.
