Marco Scotini to Curate Second Yinchuan Biennale Focusing on Ecology and East-West Exchange
Marco Scotini has been appointed as the curator for the Second Yinchuan Biennale, set to run from June to September 2018 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Yinchuan. This exhibition will delve into ecological themes and the cultural exchanges between Eastern and Western traditions, making use of 15,000 square meters within the museum and other venues. Scotini holds the position of artistic director at Milan's FM Center for Contemporary Art and also teaches visual arts and curatorial studies at NABA in Milan. His previous curatorial experiences include overseeing the Albanian Pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale and participating in three editions of the Prague Biennale. The first Yinchuan Biennale in 2016 was curated by Bose Krishnamachari following the museum's opening in 2015.
