Marco Rambaldi's Supernova-Inspired Collection at Milan Fashion Week

Marco Rambaldi presented his autumn-winter 2023/24 collection on February 22 during Milan Fashion Week, drawing inspiration from a supernova. The collection explores modern eroticism through club-inspired elements like Swarovski crystals, leather, and sheer fabrics, with an inclusive casting featuring diverse and authentic bodies. The show concluded with Patty Pravo's 'Pensiero stupendo.' Born in Bologna in 1990, Rambaldi graduated in Fashion Design from IUAV University of Venice in 2013. He debuted at Milan Fashion Week after winning the Next Generation competition, and in 2017 was a finalist in Who Is On Next? by Altaroma and Vogue Italia. He is supported by brands like Valentino under Pierpaolo Piccioli. The collection includes bondage references, colors black, white, lilac, and red, animal prints, transparent fabrics, blazers, coats, crop-tops, miniskirts, 2000s cargo pants, Dr. Martens footwear, glitter, and serpent embroidery. Rambaldi also addressed fluid masculinity, creating an ode to eroticism that is both contemporary and nostalgic of clubbing twenty years ago, but more aware of diversity.
