Marco Magnifico and Gianna Fratta in Dialogue on Art, Music, and Landscape

The Contemporaneamente podcast features a conversation between Marco Magnifico, President of FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano since 2021, and conductor Gianna Fratta. They discuss music and landscape, exploring symphonies of relationships and proportions between real and virtual, art and economy, territories and traditions. Magnifico, with 35 years at FAI, previously worked at Sotheby's in London and Italy as an expert in old master paintings. Fratta, a conductor with degrees in piano, composition, conducting, and law, is a visiting professor at Sungshin University in Seoul and teaches composition at the Conservatory of Foggia. Since 2021, she has been artistic director of the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana. She has worked with Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Berliner Symphoniker, Macao Symphony Orchestra, and others. Her production of Puccini's Trittico won Best South Korean Opera Production in 2015. The podcast is produced by Artribune and hosted by Mariantonietta Firmani.
