Marco Goldin Returns with New Exhibition Cycle for GO! 2025
In 2024, Marco Goldin will revive his organization Linea d'ombra after a two-year break, introducing a diverse program. Established in 1996, Linea d'ombra has curated significant exhibitions across Veneto, Turin, and Lombardy, drawing in over 11 million visitors. Goldin's comeback features two exhibitions alongside a theatrical piece named 'Ungaretti poeta e soldato,' inspired by Giuseppe Ungaretti's 'Porto sepolto,' which connects to Gorizia and Nova Gorica as the European Capital of Culture 2025. The inaugural exhibition will take place at Museo di Santa Chiara in Gorizia, followed by another at Galleria Comunale d’Arte Contemporanea in Monfalcone. Additionally, Goldin has enlisted twelve contemporary Italian artists to reinterpret sites on the Carso plateau, with a theatrical tour planned across six cities in April 2024.
