Marco Eusepi on Painting as a Living Language

artist · 2026-04-27

Born in 1991 in Anzio, Marco Eusepi holds a BA in Painting and an MA in Graphic Art from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. He was awarded the Premio Paolo Picozza in 2018. His recent exhibitions include SPAZIOMENSA (Rome, 2020) and The Life and Death of a Cloud at Curva Pura (Rome, 2020), along with several others from 2017 to 2019. Eusepi, who began painting at eight, draws significant inspiration from Giorgio Morandi. He blurs the lines between figuration and abstraction, focusing on drawing and an instinctive approach to color and light. Nature fuels his creativity, and he adopts a consistent process, believing that painting remains irreplaceable and that the Italian contemporary art scene is diverse yet undervalued globally.
