March 2023 Must-See Exhibitions Across Italy
Italy's museums are showcasing a varied lineup for March 2023. From March 17 until September 3, Museion Bolzano will unveil Dan Graham's Sonic Youth Pavilion (2008) alongside an exhibition honoring Albert Mayr and Asad Raza's Plot. In Turin, the Pinacoteca Agnelli will present Lee Lozano's retrospective, Strike, from March 8 to July 23, which will later move to Paris (September 20, 2023 – February 12, 2024). Venice's Fondazione Giorgio Cini will introduce Le Stanze della Fotografia on March 29, featuring a retrospective of Ugo Mulas through August 6. Chronorama will be on display at Palazzo Grassi from March 12 to January 7, 2024, while the Museo Gypsotheca Antonio Canova will open Canova e il potere on March 18. Additional exhibitions include Giacometti – Fontana (March 2 – June 4) and ALTAN (March 25 – July 30).
