Marcello Nitti and Niccolò Masini Dual Exhibition at MUST Lecce

The MUST museum in Lecce hosts the dual solo exhibition 'Immagini/Immaginari' featuring Marcello Nitti and Niccolò Masini, curated by Lorenzo Madaro and selected through the CreArt project. The show runs until June 21. Both artists explore painting as a tool to reinterpret a pandemic-altered world, though their styles differ. Masini's work centers on black skies over milky white seas with floating anthropomorphic figures, evoking emptiness and Sartrean anguish. Nitti's more static, contemplative pieces use a broader color palette, featuring broken rainbows, stormy skies, ancient trees, and recurring prism motifs—including a prism-shaped canvas in 'Prism Landscape'. The exhibition highlights their shared interest in timelessness and image research. Nitti is from Taranto, Masini from Genoa.
