Marcello Maloberti, hailing from Codogno and born in 1966, has been awarded the 47th Premio Matteo Olivero, which funds a permanent public art installation in Saluzzo. His submission consists of two pieces from the MARTELLATE series: "La Gentilezza è Punk" and "La Parola è il Sogno della Voce," set to be displayed in the old courthouse. These artworks are created using black oil pastel on white paper. The award is organized by Fondazione Amleto Bertoni, Comune di Saluzzo, and The Blank Contemporary Art, with artistic guidance from Stefano Raimondi. The jury comprised Roberto Giordana, Carlo Allemano, Alessandro Carrer, Andrea Momberto, and Nicolas Ballario. Maloberti's creation contributes to a series of public artworks by past winners from 2018 to 2024.
